Edward Choi is the Senior Vice President of Global Alliances. Choi is an accomplished, results-focused executive with a passion for driving revenue focused strategic initiatives. In his current role, he is responsible for launching the new Persistence-as-a-Service business and driving strategic partnerships with leading technology services companies to co-create and launch new innovative security solutions. Prior to joining Absolute Software, Edward was the Corporate Vice President of Global Alliances for Samsung Mobile, responsible for building strategic partnerships with leading enterprise and government technology services companies, including Microsoft, IBM, KPMG, and Cisco. Among his many accomplishments in that role was the launch of a joint venture with IBM in the US to co-create and co-sell innovative B2B mobile solutions and services, designed to increase revenue by more than $200 million over the first three years. Edward has also served in senior partnership roles at Resonate, HP Enterprise, and Verizon. Edward studied electrical engineering at the University of Maryland.
